From Claude & Isabelle G. First of all we would like to let you know that we arrived back home safe and sound! Also, we would like you to know that we have had an excellent vacation time. It was our first time in the region of Bretagne and we really loved it. About the ‘Gite’, everything was perfect! Your ‘Gite’ is very comfortable and functional at the same time. We were welcomed with warmth by your father, we were touched by the bouquet of flowers, the little welcoming card et the bottle of local apple cider on the table. From all the rented gite in the past 15 years, never have we been welcomed with so much warmth. When we arrived, the house was perfectly clean. Everything is pretty, the furniture, the dishes, the appliances. We did not use the dishwasher, the DVD player or the stereo but everything else worked well. Your garden is as well very pleasant, we have had as many meals there as possible. I was sad to leave your 'gite', I think I could leave there all year round! We had to leave on the Friday instead of Saturday morning, not because something was wrong with the 'gite' but simply because we prefer to drive during the night to avoid anticipated road traffic. Therefore we gave the keys back around 6:30 pm, went for a last taste of the local shrimp, galettes, mussels and crepes in a downtown restaurant, hanging out a last time around the port and then we left around 8:30 pm. The return went eventless on the road. Since we have been back home, it has only been raining. But here when it rains it is not like in the region of Bretagne, where right after the rain the sun shines, here the sky is deplorable: most likely it will rain all day. Another reason to feel sorry about being back home! We hope that we have been good renters, if there was even the slightest concern, please let us know. After 8 years of renting ‘gites’ in Bretagne, Bourgone and in the Loire Vallee, we are happy to let you know that yours offers a lot of comfort and is equipped with luxury appliances. Bravo! Since we were not particularly looking for summer heat, we felt very happy with the weather the way it was during those two weeks. We will definetly come back! ( And they did come back indeed!)
